A Brief  Bio

I am originally from Miami, Florida. Old Miami.  No air conditioning, no television ( radio only, imagination required), steam locomotives at the train station and 19 cent a gallon gas. The turn signal on a car was  an arm out the window.
A very different place than today.

Have spent some time in the air at flying school, flying charters around Florida and to the Bahamas, and as a corporate and airline pilot.  And in a sherriff's department patrol car. In the front seat, not the back.

My interest in art began with photography, doing my own prints, and visits to art galleries in Coconut Grove area of Miami, Florida and later in Durango Colorado, Santa Fe,  and Sedona Arizona.

I've had no formal art training, other than one workshop with Maxine Masterfield in Sarasota , Florida.

All my works are abstracts and always changing. Evolutionary abstraction. I try to conceive images that will encourage a viewer to use their imagination, not to paint "things" as a realist artist.
